Jodi Szimanski wins Ontario NDP nomination in Kitchener – Conestoga

KITCHENER – New Democrats in Kitchener – Conestoga came together to nominate Jodi Szimanski, to be their Ontario NDP candidate.

Szimanski is an education worker at the University of Waterloo, and a passionate community builder who is a strong advocate for the rights of local farmers, including those in Wilmot impacted by Doug Ford's land grab.

“I am deeply honoured to be your Ontario NDP candidate in Kitchener – Conestoga," said Szimanski. "Our community is tired of being ignored and needs a government that puts them first. With Marit Stiles and the Ontario NDP, I know that we can win a government that's on the side of working people here in our community. I am ready to fight alongside Marit for the change we need and build a better, brighter future!”

“Jodi is the voice Kitchener – Conestoga needs at Queen’s Park to fight for the things that matter the most,” said Marit Stiles, Ontario NDP leader. “As an education worker, Jodi has seen first-hand the impact of Ford’s cuts on our education system. After seven long years of Ford, Kitchener - Conestoga deserves a representative that’s working for them, and a government that’s on their side. I am proud to have Jodi on our team as we fight to build the Ontario you deserve!”
